FARDC
The FARDC, or the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, is the national military of the DRC. It was established in 2003, following the end of the Second Congo War, to unify various armed groups and create a cohesive defense force. The FARDC is responsible for protecting the country's sovereignty and maintaining internal security.
The FARDC consists of land, air, and naval forces, with a focus on combating armed groups and ensuring stability in the region. Despite facing challenges such as inadequate funding and training, the FARDC plays a crucial role in the DRC's efforts to achieve peace and security.
