Exclave
An exclave is a portion of a country that is geographically separated from the main part of that country. This separation can occur due to various reasons, such as political boundaries or natural features like rivers and mountains. An exclave is surrounded by foreign territory, making it distinct from the rest of the nation it belongs to.
A well-known example of an exclave is Kaliningrad, which is part of Russia but is situated between Poland and Lithuania. This unique situation can create challenges for governance, transportation, and access to resources, as residents may need to navigate through other countries to reach the main part of their nation.
