Evelyn Preer
Evelyn Preer was an American actress and singer, known for her work in the early 20th century. Born on December 15, 1896, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she became one of the first African American actresses to gain recognition in the film industry. Preer appeared in several silent films during the 1920s, showcasing her talent and paving the way for future generations of Black performers.
