Euskal Herria
Euskal Herria, or the Basque Country, is a region located in both northern Spain and southwestern France. It is known for its unique culture, language, and traditions. The Basque people have a distinct identity, and their language, Euskara, is one of the oldest languages in Europe, unrelated to any other known language.
The region is characterized by its diverse landscapes, including mountains, forests, and coastline along the Bay of Biscay. Major cities in Euskal Herria include Bilbao, San Sebastián, and Pamplona. The area is also famous for its culinary scene, particularly pintxos, which are small snacks typically served in bars.
