Eurasian Spoonbill
The Eurasian Spoonbill is a large wading bird known for its distinctive spoon-shaped bill. It typically measures about 75 to 90 centimeters in length and has a wingspan of up to 130 centimeters. This bird is primarily found in wetlands, marshes, and shallow coastal areas across Europe, Asia, and parts of Africa.
Eurasian Spoonbills are social birds, often seen in flocks. They feed by sweeping their bills through the water to catch small fish, crustaceans, and insects. Their plumage is mostly white, with some individuals displaying yellowish or black markings during the breeding season.
