Eupator Philopator
Eupator Philopator was a king of the ancient Egyptian Ptolemaic dynasty, ruling from 145 to 116 BCE. He was the son of Ptolemy VI Philometor and Cleopatra II, and his reign was marked by political instability and conflict, particularly with the rival Ptolemaic factions and the Seleucid Empire.
During his rule, Eupator faced challenges in maintaining control over Egypt and its territories. His reign ended when he was overthrown, leading to a power struggle that involved various claimants to the throne. Despite his short reign, Eupator's rule is a notable part of the complex history of the Ptolemaic dynasty.
