Alexandre de Beauharnais
Alexandre de Beauharnais was a French politician and military officer born on June 28, 1760. He played a significant role during the early years of the French Revolution and was known for his leadership in the National Guard. Beauharnais was married to Josephine de Beauharnais, who later became the first wife of Napoleon Bonaparte.
In 1794, Beauharnais was arrested during the Reign of Terror and executed by guillotine. His death marked a tragic end to a life that had been intertwined with the political upheavals of his time. Despite his short life, he left a lasting impact on French history.
