Eugen of Sweden
Eugen of Sweden, born on March 17, 1865, was a Swedish prince and artist. He was the son of Prince Oscar, Duke of Gotland and Princess Sophia of Nassau. Eugen is known for his contributions to Swedish art, particularly in painting, and he became a prominent figure in the Swedish art scene during his lifetime.
Eugen was also a member of the Swedish royal family, being the younger brother of King Gustaf V of Sweden. He spent much of his life in Stockholm and later moved to Öland, where he established a studio. Eugen passed away on July 17, 1947, leaving behind a legacy in both art and royal history.
