Eugène de Beauharnais
Eugène de Beauharnais (1781-1824) was a French general and politician, known for being the stepson of Napoleon Bonaparte. Born in Paris, he was the son of Joséphine de Beauharnais and her first husband. Eugène played a significant role in the Napoleonic Wars, serving with distinction in various campaigns across Europe.
In 1806, he was appointed as the Viceroy of Italy, where he worked to implement reforms and strengthen the region's economy. Eugène's leadership and military skills earned him respect, and he was instrumental in maintaining French influence in Italy during the turbulent times of the early 19th century.
