Ethiopian Parliament
The Ethiopian Parliament is the national legislative body of Ethiopia, responsible for making laws and overseeing the government. It consists of two chambers: the House of Peoples' Representatives and the House of Federation. Members of the House of Peoples' Representatives are elected by the public, while the House of Federation represents the country's various ethnic groups.
The Parliament meets in Addis Ababa, the capital city, and plays a crucial role in shaping national policies and budgets. It also has the authority to approve treaties and ratify international agreements, ensuring that the interests of the Ethiopian people are represented in governance.
