Ernest II of Saxe-Coburg
Ernest II of Saxe-Coburg was a German prince born on June 21, 1818. He became the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha in 1893, following the death of his father, Duke Ernst I. Ernest II was known for his efforts to modernize the duchy and promote economic development during his reign.
