Eric Holder
Eric Holder is an American lawyer who served as the 82nd Attorney General of the United States from 2009 to 2015 under President Barack Obama. He was the first African American to hold this position and played a significant role in various legal reforms, including efforts to address voting rights and criminal justice reform.
Before becoming Attorney General, Holder held several important positions, including Deputy Attorney General and U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. After leaving office, he continued to advocate for civil rights and social justice through his work with the National Democratic Redistricting Committee and other organizations.
