Eri Language
Eri Language is a member of the Kuki-Chin-Mizo branch of the Sino-Tibetan language family. It is primarily spoken by the Eri people in the northeastern region of India, particularly in the state of Assam. The language has several dialects and is known for its rich oral traditions.
Eri is written using the Latin script and has a unique phonetic structure. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the language, as it faces challenges from dominant languages in the region. Community initiatives aim to enhance literacy and cultural identity among Eri speakers.
