Epley Maneuver
The Epley Maneuver is a simple, non-invasive procedure used to treat benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). This condition causes brief episodes of dizziness triggered by changes in head position. The maneuver involves a series of specific head and body movements designed to reposition tiny calcium crystals in the inner ear, which are responsible for the vertigo.
Typically performed by a healthcare professional, the Epley Maneuver can also be done at home with proper guidance. It is effective in alleviating symptoms for many patients, helping them regain balance and reduce dizziness associated with BPPV.
