Enuresis
Enuresis, commonly known as bedwetting, is the involuntary discharge of urine during sleep. It typically occurs in children and can be classified into two types: primary enuresis, where a child has never achieved consistent nighttime dryness, and secondary enuresis, which occurs after a period of dryness.
The condition can be caused by various factors, including genetic predisposition, deep sleep patterns, and bladder capacity issues. While it is often a normal part of childhood development, persistent enuresis may require evaluation by a healthcare professional to rule out underlying medical conditions or to explore treatment options.
