Emperor Yōmei
Emperor Yōmei was the 32nd emperor of Japan, reigning from 585 to 587 AD. He was a member of the Yamato dynasty and is known for his efforts to promote Buddhism in Japan. His reign was marked by political challenges, including conflicts with powerful clans.
Yōmei's rule was relatively short, lasting only about two years. He was succeeded by his son, Emperor Sushun. Historical records about his life and reign are limited, but he is remembered for his contributions to the early development of Japanese culture and religion.
