Emperor Sushun was the 10th emperor of the Qing Dynasty in China, reigning from 1861 to 1861. His reign was brief and marked by political instability, as he was a puppet ruler under the influence of powerful officials. Sushun was known for his inability to effectively govern and make independent decisions. In 1861, Sushun was overthrown in a coup led by Empress Dowager Cixi and other officials. His removal was part of a larger power struggle within the Qing court. Following his deposition, Sushun was executed, and Cixi took control, leading to significant changes in the dynasty's governance.
