Emperor Haile Selassie
Emperor Haile Selassie was the last Emperor of Ethiopia, reigning from 1930 until 1974. He is known for his efforts to modernize the country and for his role in the establishment of the Organization of African Unity. His leadership during the Second Italo-Ethiopian War and his appeal to the League of Nations highlighted his commitment to Ethiopian sovereignty.
