Emma Borden
Emma Borden was born on March 1, 1851, in Fall River, Massachusetts. She was the eldest daughter of Andrew Borden and Sarah Borden. Emma lived a privileged life, but her family dynamics were complicated, especially after the death of her mother and the arrival of her stepmother, Abby Borden.
Emma is best known for her connection to the infamous Lizzie Borden case. In 1892, her sister Lizzie was accused of murdering their father and stepmother. Although Emma was not directly involved in the trial, her relationship with Lizzie and the family's history became central to the public's fascination with the case.
