Elliniko
Elliniko is a coastal suburb located in the southern part of Athens, Greece. It is known for its beautiful beaches and proximity to the Athenian Riviera. The area has a mix of residential neighborhoods, parks, and commercial spaces, making it a popular place for both locals and tourists.
Historically, Elliniko was home to the site of the former Ellinikon International Airport, which was closed in 2001. Since then, plans have been proposed to transform the area into a large urban development project, including parks, housing, and recreational facilities, aiming to revitalize the region.
