Elizabeth Blount
Elizabeth Blount was an English noblewoman known for her relationship with King Henry VIII. She was born around 1498 and became a lady-in-waiting to Catherine of Aragon, Henry's first wife. Blount is often remembered for being the mother of Henry FitzRoy, the king's illegitimate son, born in 1519.
Despite her connection to the king, Elizabeth Blount's life was relatively private. After giving birth to FitzRoy, she married Thomas St. Leger in 1525 and lived a quieter life away from the royal court. Her story reflects the complexities of court life during the Tudor period.
