Elisabetta Gonzaga
Elisabetta Gonzaga (1471-1526) was an Italian noblewoman from the prominent Gonzaga family of Mantua. She became the Duchess of Urbino through her marriage to Francesco Maria della Rovere, the Duke of Urbino. Known for her intelligence and cultural patronage, Elisabetta played a significant role in the Renaissance court.
As a patron of the arts, Elisabetta supported various artists and intellectuals, contributing to the cultural development of her time.
