Elisabeth of Romania
Elisabeth of Romania, also known as Queen Elisabeth, was born on October 29, 1843, in Vienna, Austria. She was the daughter of Archduke Joseph of Austria and Princess Maria Dorothea of Austria. Elisabeth became the Queen of Romania through her marriage to King Carol I of Romania in 1869, playing a significant role in the cultural and social life of the country.
