Princess Maria Dorothea of Austria
Princess Maria Dorothea of Austria was born on December 14, 1730, as the daughter of Emperor Francis I and Empress Maria Theresa. She was a member of the Habsburg dynasty, which played a significant role in European history. Maria Dorothea was known for her beauty and intelligence, and she was well-educated in various subjects.
In 1749, she married Duke Ferdinand of Parma, strengthening the political ties between the Habsburgs and the Duchy of Parma. The couple had several children, and Maria Dorothea became an influential figure in her new home. She passed away on May 18, 1801.
