Eliška Přemyslovna
Eliška Přemyslovna was a notable historical figure from the Czech Republic, born around 1292. She was a member of the Přemyslid dynasty and became the queen consort of John of Luxembourg, the King of Bohemia. Her marriage helped strengthen political ties between the Czech lands and Luxembourg.
Eliška was known for her intelligence and political acumen. After her husband's death in 1346, she played a significant role in the governance of the kingdom, advocating for her son, Charles IV, who later became the Holy Roman Emperor. Her legacy is remembered in Czech history for her contributions to the royal lineage.
