Eleanor of Lancaster
Eleanor of Lancaster was born in 1345 and was a member of the English nobility. She was the daughter of Henry of Lancaster and Maud Chaworth. Eleanor married John of Gaunt, the Duke of Lancaster, in 1361, which strengthened her family's political influence.
Eleanor and John had several children, including Henry IV of England. She played a significant role in the royal court and was known for her piety and charitable works. Eleanor passed away in 1372, leaving a legacy through her descendants who would shape English history.
