Edwy
Edwy was a king of England who ruled from 955 to 959 AD. He became king at a young age, around 15, after the death of his half-brother, Edmund I. His reign was marked by internal conflicts and challenges to his authority, particularly from nobles who were loyal to Edmund's family.
During his short reign, Edwy faced opposition from powerful figures, including Dunstan, a prominent church leader. This tension ultimately led to Edwy's downfall, as he was forced to flee and was later killed, making his reign one of the more tumultuous periods in early English history.
