Eadwig
Eadwig was a king of England who reigned briefly from 955 to 959 AD. He was the son of Edmund I and became king at a young age after the death of his brother, Eadred. Eadwig's reign was marked by political instability and conflict, particularly with the powerful nobles of the time.
His rule ended when he was deposed, and Edgar the Peaceful, his half-brother, succeeded him. Eadwig's legacy is often overshadowed by the more successful reign of Edgar, who is remembered for restoring peace and stability to England after Eadwig's tumultuous rule.
