Edward de Clare, 9th Earl of Hertford
Edward de Clare, 9th Earl of Hertford, was a British nobleman born on March 21, 1793. He was the son of Edward de Clare, 8th Earl of Hertford and Lady Elizabeth Seymour. Edward inherited the title of Earl of Hertford in 1821 and was known for his involvement in various social and political activities of his time.
Throughout his life, the 9th Earl was associated with the Whig Party and held several positions, including serving as a Member of Parliament. He was also a patron of the arts and contributed to the cultural landscape of Britain during the 19th century. Edward de Clare passed away on June 24, 1870.
