Edward de Clare, 7th Earl of Hertford
Edward de Clare, 7th Earl of Hertford, was a British nobleman born in 1735. He was the son of Edward de Clare, 6th Earl of Hertford and Lady Anne Seymour, and he inherited the title in 1750 after his father's death. The Earl was known for his involvement in the arts and his patronage of various cultural endeavors during the 18th century.
He served as a Member of Parliament and held several important positions, including Lord Lieutenant of Middlesex. Edward de Clare was also a prominent figure in the Whig Party, contributing to political discussions of his time.
