Eddystone Rocks
Eddystone Rocks is a group of small, rocky islets located off the coast of Cornwall, England. They are situated about 14 miles southwest of Penzance and are known for their rugged beauty and rich marine life. The rocks are primarily composed of granite and are a popular spot for seabirds.
The most notable feature of Eddystone Rocks is the Eddystone Lighthouse, which was first built in 1698 to warn ships of the dangerous reefs. Over the years, the lighthouse has been rebuilt several times due to erosion and storm damage, making it an important landmark for maritime navigation in the area.
