Dvapara Yuga
The Dvapara Yuga is the third age in the cycle of four yugas in Hindu cosmology, following the Treta Yuga and preceding the Kali Yuga. It is characterized by a gradual decline in virtue and righteousness, with people becoming less spiritually aware and more materialistic. This yuga is said to last for about 864,000 years.
During the Dvapara Yuga, significant events from Hindu mythology, such as the life of Lord Krishna, are believed to have occurred. The yuga is marked by the presence of divine beings and the establishment of dharma, or moral order, although it is still less than in the preceding yugas.
