Dunrobin Castle
Dunrobin Castle is located in the Scottish Highlands, near the village of Golspie. It is one of the largest castles in the northern part of Scotland and serves as the ancestral home of the Earls of Sutherland. The castle features a distinctive French château style, characterized by its pointed towers and ornate architecture.
The history of Dunrobin Castle dates back to the 13th century, although much of the current structure was built in the 19th century. The castle is surrounded by beautiful gardens, which are inspired by the Palace of Versailles. Today, it is open to the public, offering tours and exhibitions about its rich history.
