Duncan II
Duncan II was a King of Scotland who reigned briefly in the late 11th century. He was the son of Duncan I and became king after his father's death in 1040. His reign lasted from 1094 to 1095, during which he faced challenges from rival factions and claims to the throne.
Duncan II was ultimately overthrown and killed in 1095, leading to the restoration of Malcolm III, his uncle. His short reign is often overshadowed by the more prominent figures in Scottish history, but it reflects the turbulent political landscape of the time.
