Duke Friedrich Franz I
Duke Friedrich Franz I was a prominent figure in the history of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, a region in northern Germany. Born on December 28, 1756, he became the Grand Duke in 1815 and ruled until his death in 1837. His reign was marked by efforts to modernize the duchy and improve its economy and infrastructure.
