Duane Gish
Duane Gish was an American biochemist and prominent advocate for creationism. Born on February 1, 1921, he was known for his work with the Institute for Creation Research and for promoting the idea that the Bible provides a literal account of the origins of life. Gish earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and authored several books on creationism.
Throughout his career, Gish participated in numerous debates against proponents of evolution, arguing against the scientific consensus on the age of the Earth and the theory of evolution. He became a well-known figure in the creationist movement, influencing many with his views until his passing on March 5, 2013.
