Dream Syndicate
The Dream Syndicate is an American rock band formed in 1981 in Los Angeles, California. They are known for their blend of alternative rock and psychedelic influences, often associated with the Paisley Underground movement. The band's original lineup included Steve Wynn, Kendra Smith, and Dennis Duck, and they gained recognition for their energetic live performances and innovative sound.
Their debut album, "The Days of Wine and Roses," was released in 1982 and received critical acclaim. Over the years, the Dream Syndicate has undergone several lineup changes and hiatuses but has continued to release new music, including their 2017 album, "How Did I Find Myself Here?" which marked a return to form for the band.
