Dragon and Tiger Pagodas
The Dragon and Tiger Pagodas are two iconic structures located in the Lotus Pond area of Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Built in the 1970s, these pagodas are designed in traditional Chinese architectural style and symbolize the balance of opposites, with the dragon representing power and the tiger symbolizing courage. Visitors can enter through the dragon's mouth and exit through the tiger's, which is believed to bring good fortune.
Surrounding the pagodas are various other attractions, including the Spring and Autumn Pavilions and numerous sculptures that depict Chinese mythology. The site is popular for its scenic views and cultural significance, making it a favorite destination for both tourists and locals.
