Districts of Ethiopia
Ethiopia is divided into several administrative regions known as kililoch (singular: kilil). Each region is further subdivided into woredas, which are the equivalent of districts. These districts serve as the local government units, managing resources and services for their communities.
The country has a diverse range of districts, reflecting its rich cultural and ethnic diversity. Each woreda has its own unique characteristics, including language, traditions, and economic activities, contributing to Ethiopia's overall cultural tapestry. The districts play a crucial role in local governance and development initiatives.
