Dictys
Dictys is a character from Greek mythology, known primarily as a fisherman from the island of Seriphos. He is often depicted as a kind and noble figure who rescues Perseus and his mother, Danaë, after they are cast adrift in a chest by King Acrisius.
In some versions of the myth, Dictys becomes a father figure to Perseus, raising him on Seriphos. His character is significant in the story as he provides shelter and support, contrasting with the villainous nature of King Polydectes, who desires Danaë for himself.
