Dhoti
A dhoti is a traditional garment worn by men in various parts of South Asia, particularly in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. It is typically made of cotton and consists of a long piece of cloth, usually around 4 to 5 meters, that is wrapped around the waist and tied in place. The dhoti is often worn during festivals, religious ceremonies, and formal occasions.
The dhoti is known for its comfort and breathability, making it suitable for warm climates. It can be styled in different ways, depending on regional customs. In some areas, it is paired with a kurta, a long tunic, to create a complete traditional outfit.
