Dhanushkodi
Dhanushkodi is a ghost town located at the southeastern tip of India, on the Pamban Island in the Gulf of Mannar. Once a thriving town, it was devastated by a cyclone in 1964, leading to its abandonment. Today, it is known for its scenic beauty, with pristine beaches and the ruins of old structures that attract tourists and history enthusiasts.
The area is also significant for its proximity to the Adam's Bridge, a chain of limestone shoals connecting India and Sri Lanka. Dhanushkodi is a popular spot for photography and exploration, offering a glimpse into the past and the natural beauty of the region.
