Derviş Eroğlu
Derviş Eroğlu is a Turkish Cypriot politician who served as the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) from 2010 to 2015. He was born on July 7, 1938, in the village of Karaoğlanoğlu in Cyprus. Eroğlu is a member of the National Unity Party and has held various political positions throughout his career, including Prime Minister of the TRNC.
Eroğlu is known for his stance on the Cyprus dispute, advocating for the recognition of the TRNC and opposing reunification efforts that would compromise its sovereignty.
