Delonix Regia
Delonix regia, commonly known as the flamboyant tree or royal poinciana, is a tropical tree native to Madagascar. It is renowned for its striking, bright red or orange flowers that bloom in large clusters, creating a stunning visual display. The tree can grow up to 12-15 meters tall and features a broad, umbrella-like canopy that provides ample shade.
The flamboyant tree thrives in warm climates and is often planted in parks and along streets for ornamental purposes. Its leaves are fern-like and can grow up to 60 centimeters long, providing a lush green backdrop to its vibrant flowers. Delonix regia is also known for its ability to tolerate drought conditions.
