Deep Space Network
The Deep Space Network (DSN) is a global network of large antennas that supports interplanetary spacecraft missions. Operated by the NASA, it provides critical communication links for missions exploring planets, moons, and other celestial bodies. The DSN consists of three main facilities located in California, Spain, and Australia, allowing for continuous contact with spacecraft as the Earth rotates.
Each facility is equipped with powerful antennas that can send and receive signals over vast distances. The DSN plays a vital role in transmitting data, receiving commands, and monitoring spacecraft health, ensuring successful exploration of our solar system and beyond.
