Dashnaktsutyun
Dashnaktsutyun, officially known as the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), is a political party founded in 1890 in the Ottoman Empire. It was established to promote the rights and welfare of the Armenian people, advocating for social justice, national liberation, and the establishment of an independent Armenian state.
The party played a significant role during the Armenian Genocide and in the subsequent establishment of the First Republic of Armenia in 1918. Today, Dashnaktsutyun continues to be active in Armenian politics, focusing on issues such as diaspora engagement, human rights, and the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.
