Armenian Revolutionary Federation
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), also known as the Dashnaktsutyun, is a political party founded in 1890 in the Ottoman Empire. Its primary goal is to promote the rights and interests of the Armenian people, advocating for social justice, national liberation, and the establishment of an independent Armenian state. The ARF played a significant role in the Armenian national movement, especially during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Throughout its history, the ARF has been involved in various political activities and has participated in the governance of Armenia after its independence in 1991. The party has also been active in the Armenian diaspora, working to raise awareness about issues such as the Armenian Genocide and advocating for the recognition of Armenian rights globally.
