Danish-Swedish Wars
The Danish-Swedish Wars were a series of conflicts between the kingdoms of Denmark and Sweden from the late 14th century to the early 18th century. These wars were primarily driven by territorial disputes and the struggle for dominance in the Baltic Sea region. Key battles included the Battle of Alesia and the Battle of Lund.
The wars resulted in significant territorial changes and shifts in power. The most notable conflict was the Great Northern War (1700-1721), which ultimately led to the decline of Danish influence and the rise of Sweden as a major power in Northern Europe.
