Daisy Werthan
Daisy Werthan is a fictional character from the play "Driving Miss Daisy," written by Alfred Uhry. She is an elderly Jewish woman living in Atlanta, Georgia, who becomes increasingly dependent on her African American chauffeur, Hoke Colburn, after a car accident.
Throughout the story, Daisy's character evolves as she navigates her changing relationship with Hoke. Initially resistant to having a driver, she gradually develops a deep friendship with him, reflecting themes of race, aging, and the passage of time in the American South during the mid-20th century.
