Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft
Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) was a German company founded in 1890 by Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach. It specialized in the production of internal combustion engines and automobiles. DMG played a significant role in the early automotive industry, producing some of the first high-speed engines and luxury cars.
In 1926, DMG merged with Benz & Cie, another pioneering automotive company founded by Karl Benz, to form Daimler-Benz AG. This merger led to the creation of the iconic Mercedes-Benz brand, which is known for its innovation and quality in the automotive sector.
